Overview

The UnitedHealthcare Emotional Well-Being Solutions presentation is geared towards educating employers on the importance of emotional well being while also highlighting some strategies for getting the right care. It also goes over some behavioral health benefits included with select health plans.

Goal

The goal for this presentation was clear communication and to simplify the messaging while transforming the content into visually appealing graphics and diagrams. The purpose of this presentation was to create benefit awareness as well as touch on the importance of behavioral health in the workplace.

Process

This project was mostly a design exercise and only needed light copywriting since the content was from a previous years presentation. For the design, I applied existing brand styles to the slides using brand assets such as icons, photos and other graphic elements. I internalized the copy and where applicable, transformed the content into an infographic or other graphic that visually conveyed the slides messaging in a more simple, easy to understand format. Ultimately, this is almost always the goal when it comes to presentations. A lot rides on how it is being presented (screen, projector, spoken to, emailed out, etc.), but most of the time conveying the messaging in clear and simple way is the goal. Visuals grab interest and let the copy and messaging shine.
