Overview

Our client came to us with a need and an idea of what they were looking for. They wanted a leave-behind following in-person and virtual sales meetings. Specialty benefits include dental, vision, hearing, financial protection and stop-loss. The brochure was a supplement to the sales meetings, with the goal of answering any of the employers' lingering questions and driving them to add specialty benefits to their health plans.

Goal

The sales goal was to sell the specialty benefits plans as an add on to the employers' current health care plans or win new business. Our goal was to design an informative, on-brand brochure that would act as a leave-behind following in-person and virtual sales meeting between UnitedHealthcare sales teams and existing and potential customers.

Process

From project conception through final delivery myself along with one of our project managers, worked directly with our sales and marketing clients as well as stakeholders and key decision makers. We attended two internal work/brainstorm sessions where our responsibility was to take notes and do an overall intake of the projects background and goals. We created a creative brief, generating thoughtful questions for the team as well as contributed to to the brainstorm with ideas ranging from content organization to the projects medium and format. After collecting and compiling all the content into an InDesign document, what began as a 4 page brochure quickly evolved to a 16 page brochure. At this point we engaged our copywriter to comb through everything, rewrite and organize as needed. Multiple review cycles later, we netted out at 12 pages. Our client was happy to have this as a clean, informative and on brand sales tool.
